A Sunday morning teaching from Charity Cook from Global Awakening.Trusting the Lord"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, . . . and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit" (Jeremiah 17:7-8).Trust and anxiety do not go together. Trusting God heals our anxiety. As time goes by, we can learn to hear the voice of God and His voice becomes more prominent than any other voice in our lives. Anxiety increases the noise of my own thoughts, trust leads me to rest in the thoughts of God.Our God is the God who speaks to all of us. He speaks to the leaders and to the seekers. He speaks to believers and unbelievers alike. God is the God of revelation! We can hear him in the Word, in dreams and images, even in a voice that gives clear directions as in the case of Cornelius. In our own journey of faith, God wants to speak to us.Let us listen!
