I ran out to the old church after receiving Claire’s text. When I arrived, the door was open. How did she get it open? It’s been locked for years. I saw Claire standing at the back of the church. When I called out to her, she ran down stairs behind the altar. Down the stairs was a flooded room. As I went further in, a pure white light began to shine bright. Soon I realized I wasn’t in a room. It felt like I was outside. Claire was standing there motioning with her hands. Deep down I felt like I should have gone back, but I approached her. The only thing she said was “Can you keep my secret?” Afterward everything went black. I could hear voices around me. It was the sherrifs. I must have been transported to the local hospital.
