Welcome back to Talking leadership and my thanks to today’s podcast guest, Sandra Ireson, a self-employed beef producer. Sandra is a 6th generation farmer with an interest in issues relating to agriculture, youth and education as well as issues relating to women in rural and remote communities. I asked Sandra to share her definition of leadership which involved a combination of understanding who you are, encouraging others, engaging with others and being a good communicator. The importance of community to Sandra is clear in the discussion and a core part of her views regarding leadership.
