It's NATIONAL TACO DAY and we're celebrating by eating TACOS at a Chili Parlor! But not just any chili parlor! We're taste testing the tasty tacos at DIXON'S FAMOUS CHILI PARLOR! Celebrating 100 Years in KC! It was Harry S. Truman's Favorite Chili Spot but we're not sure if he ever had the ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT TACOS! Joining us this week are Greg D & Jenius McGee, hosts of the "Nerds of Nostalgia" podcast as well as the "Nightmare Junkhead" podcast! They run down a list of some of their upcoming October film screenings and episode recordings at Screenland Armour and Tapcade as well as the Alamo Drafthouse! Dave asks them about their Most Overrated/Underrated Films of All Time, Favorite Actor and Director and WHAT MOVIE COULD HAVE BEEN MADE BETTER WITH THE ADDITION OF TACOS? Jenius tells us about his days working at a Taco Bell (he's not a fan), we ponder Dixon's 47 All-You-Can-Eat Taco Record (How many could we eat?) and we not only review the tasty tacos but we review the FAMOUS CHILI at Dixon's and in a T3 first we taste test a CHILI TACO and it is TACO-RRIFIC! In the TACO TICKER, we run down a list of NATIONAL TACO DAY Specials, break down the new TACO BELL VAT OF NACHOS that they are testing in certain markets and dream about the TOURING TACO MUSEUM that features a MECHANICAL TACO you can ride and a GUACAMOLE PIT you can frolic in! In TOWN OF THE TACO, we reveal KC NEIGHBORHOODS everyone should visit, Our Favorite New KC Restaurant Trends and WHAT IS IN THE BASEMENT AT THE ALAMO?! All This AND: WHAT'S YOUR GO-TO SIDE ITEM WITH CHILI: CORNBREAD or CINNAMON ROLLS?! We even manage to talk a little RAMBO and BILL & TED'S Trilogy, too! So pull on up to the counter and get yourself a hot steaming bowl of TACO THE TOWN! Editor: MATT ALLEN. Music by: SUNEATERS, courtesy of LOTUSPOOL RECORDS."
