Azita Abdollahian endured a controlling marriage, forced to flee her homeland Iran under a cloud and was a refugee with no English. She became numb and mechanical. She talks about domestic violence; it has no boundaries. It exists regardless of your postcode, skin colour, upbringing, religion, education or economic status. Her story is one of courage from darkness to light. She works with women to recreate, rediscover and reconnect with themselves again and to find their purpose.
