The blessings we know, are truly extraordinary, and they can be so good that it's easy to forget that few have ever or will ever experience what we do. This isn't simply true from a material perspective, but from the ideals and virtues we celebrate and have access to. The things that seem self-evident to us - love, value, equality and freedom - are not of this world. In this message, we trace the principles of our country back to their starting point, and consider how we got here. We come to terms with our great blessings as a people, and our equally great responsibility. We have an extraordinary opportunity every day to make the most of the virtues and gifts we enjoy each day. Both the words of Paul and Jesus loom large over us today, with a charge to use our lives for the Glory of God and the growth of His Kingdom.
