Outside of Christ Jesus (John 3:16-18), there is no other faith that promises us salvation from sin and eternal life. For mankind, the only reconciliation from the consequences of sin is Christ Jesus (John 14:6). Christ, our Messiah, became mankind’s only way back to the promise of eternal life after man was separated by sin in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:22-24). Jesus was, and still is, the only way that brings salvation and eternal life to the world. His sacrifice on the cross is for the reconciliation of mankind back to God by the remission of sins (Colossians 1:20). The blood that Christ shed at His death on the cross is the blood of the New Testament (Hebrews 9:12-15). Therefore, to obtain eternal life with God, every soul must apply the sacrificial blood of Christ Jesus to his or her own life (Romans 6:3-5).
