From the beginning, after man sinned in the garden, God removed Adam and Eve from the garden to prevent them from partaking of the tree of life and living forever. This is the curse of sin that has stained all mankind and furthermore, eternal life has been guarded ever since. Jesus, the Son of God, has come to redeem mankind back to God by removing sin and granting eternal life.
