GREG RETURNS! Greg joins me and Todd for an afternoon discussion about college football season. THIS college football season, which is quickly coming upon us! IT IS TIME TO START DRINKING THE KOOL AID YOU SUNSABITCHES. You can be all... “I’ll wait and see... ” or “They need to show me something...” Or you can just give it up and get on this boat, that’s leaving the harbor in less than 30 days. It might sink 200 feet offshore when we hit the Illinois game, but it might be the greatest journey you’ve been on in a while. I’d recommend you get on the boat, you doubting candy ass. Either way, it’s going to be a fun adventure. Maybe fighting for your life while sharks circle isn’t your way of defining fun, but it’s better than hiding under your bed waiting for the day they tell you you’re bound for the rest home for the rest of your days. IT HAS OCCURRED TO ME This might be the funnest football season we’ve seen in quite a while. Can you imagine what it will be like watching Texas and Oklahoma go through what might be their final season in the Big 12? Do you think Texas will get an extra second? Do you think they’ll get any call in their favor? Do you think they could go 0-however many Big 12 games they play? Oklahoma is poised to be a playoff contender. Do you think Bob Bowlsby really wants to give them a Big 12 trophy? Or do you think they might get robbed of a couple victories that ruins their playoff chances? Oh, my friends. This could be a blast. Then there’s Nebraska. So many questions. Who’s the starting running back? Who’s the backup quarterback? Will Omar Manning contribute this season? Will we find a pass rusher?
