WELCOME TO SHOP TALK EPISODE 1!! Ok here it is folks!! This is the story of how Hairroin Salon began in Los Angeles, expanded to Manhattan and evolved into a digital space! Sarah Merrie is our shows’ producer and is also interviewing me since she has been a part of my story since the beginning and knows how to extract all the juice! Shop Talk is a podcast for hairdressers and their clients. As a hairdresser myself for the past 20 years I have been incredibly fortunate to hear amazing stories on topics I could have never imagined and witness ideas blossom into empires. This is a treasure trove of knowledge too good not to share. I believe that hairdressers make up a very important part of everyone’s life. We are the original influencers, the analog trendsetters. We are privy to all of our clients’ major life moments… marriage, divorce, good dates, new job opportunities, births and deaths… often before actual family hears the news.
