A native Texan, Dr. New is a specialist in French and founder of French Affaires, a company celebrating French travel, culture, language, and l'art de vivre. She is a self-confessed Francophile and has been making pilgrimages to France since 1983. Paris and Provence count among her particular favorites as she has lived in both locales.
