The day's programming featured a special live broadcast from the PICA bar near Perth's Cultural Centre from 10 to 11 AM, when the march started, as well as a special block of programming dedicated to interviews with climate activists from all backgrounds and a special edition of Revolver dedicated to socially conscious women in hip-hop. On the day, Breakfast's Taylah Strano was at the strike in Perth speaking to artists and activists attending the event, including PVI Collective co-founder Kelli McCluskey, Cool Change Contemporary co-founder Jess Boyce, musician Steve Aaron Hughes, independent artist Alex Desebrock and RTRFM's own Danae Gibson, about what attending the strike means to them and what we collectively stand to lose. The program also included interviews with various people in the climate activism sphere about what we can do on a macro and micro level to combat climate change, including interviews hosted earlier in the week on The Mag with School Strike 4 Climate organiser [Makaela Rowe-Fox](https://rtrfm.com.au/story/school-strike-4-climate-makaela-rowe-fox/), Conservation Council of WA spokesperson [Paddy Cullen](https://rtrfm.com.au/story/conservation-council-joining-the-global-climate-strike/) and spoke with with people attending the Global Climate Strike, including Greens WA Senator Jordon Steele-John, Extinction Rebellion WA's Annika DeRoy and Reuben Barclay and documentary director Damon Gameau.
