I am in conversation with Registered Integrative Therapist - Hannah Nicholson who works with Adults and Adolescents. She has a successful practice in Buckinghamshire UK, provides counselling services to Charity for young people and spent several years working within a mental health hospital attending to the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of patients. In today's episode, Hannah shares with us, what led her to counselling, what was involved in her journey to becoming a counsellor – the challenges and triumphs along the way. She shares how determination and tenacity helped her achieve her goal. Hannah goes onto share a little of her counselling approaches and how these may benefit clients. She talks about the value of counselling and encourages those in need of support to seek out the counsellor who is a good fit for them. Interestingly, we also touch on some of the issues relating to our African Caribbean community and the resistance with seeking out counselling support.  I do hope you get tremendous value from our conversation today.
