I asked my mom to come on my podcast so she could give her side of the story throughout my addiction. We got into some really good conversations and found out even more stuff that we didn't know. We talk a lot about speaking our truth and that is an important way to ending stigma is if you are feeling guilt, shame, or are in denial, it's important to work through that and empower yourself. Lynn Carnes is an executive leadership coach and many of the principles she learned for herself applied to helping me through my journey. We were both leading change in our own lives. And now, we help others do the same.
