Many New Year’s plans are put in the drawer and are (maybe) taken out for a moment at the end of the year. In a good scenario: congratulate yourself. Usually – to comfort yourself with different justifications about why things once again did not work out this time. Measure progress every week. Be brutally honest with yourself. If the progress falls short of what is necessary, make it mercilessly clear to yourself.
