(24) Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. (25) The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” (26) He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. (27) The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!” (マタイ 8:23-27 JCB)それから、イエスと弟子たちの一行は舟に乗り込み、湖を渡り始めました。(24)すると突然、激しい嵐になりました。舟は今にも、山のような大波にのまれそうです。ところが、イエスはぐっすり眠っておられました。(25)弟子たちはあわてて、イエスを揺り起こし、「主よ。お助けください。舟が沈みそうです」と叫びました。(26)するとイエスは、「そんなにこわがるとは、それでも神を信じているのですか」と答えると、ゆっくり立ち上がり、風と波をおしかりになりました。するとどうでしょう。嵐はぴたりとやみ、大なぎになったではありませんか。 27弟子たちは恐ろしさのあまり、その場に座り込み、「なんというお方だろう。風や湖までが従うとは」と、ささやき合いました。 1) There Are Still Storms Even When We Follow Jesus イエスについて行っても、嵐は来る 2) Know That Jesus Is in Your Boat イエスが船に乗っているのを知ろう (2 Timothy 4:18 NLT) Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul. (2) This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (3) For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. (9)If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,(10) no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
