Is Easter only a promise for an eternal future in heaven? A risen Jesus is the basis for all Christian hope because it means God can do anything. All authority in heaven and on earth was given to Jesus. His parting words were a commission with a promise. "Go and make disciples...and I will be with you ALWAYS!"
