If you've been engaged for more than even five minutes, you've probably already noticed that the wedding industry is extremely heteronormative. The language that so many wedding pros use, and the hetero assumptions that they make, make it uncomfortable at best for LGBTQ+ couples who are going through the planning process. And look, I get we still have a long, long way to go.
