This episode is so important given the current climate around the world, and especially in the USA. The past week has brought up a lot for me and a lot of people I know - going inward and facing some shadows and learning more about the history of the United States and what it means for black people today and how we as white people can live there without experiencing any of the violence and fear that black people do. We cannot look away or brush this under the rug.So this week I invited a beautiful Black Jewish Woman, Chaya Lev, to raise her voice on the show and share her story with all you Queen Sisters.Chaya Lev has helped organize peaceful "sister" protests here in Israel to stand in solidarity against police brutality in the United States. She uses dance to heal and as a tool for #DancingOutTheHate. She is a beautiful shining soul and I can't wait to share this conversation with you!In this episode you'll learn:?? How the cross section of being Black Jewish and Female can affect some women.?? One Black woman's message for White Jewish women about how we can help heal racism in our society.?? How we can better and more sensitively approach Black Jews with out questions.Connect with Chaya Lev's little corner of the internet:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brownsugarjew22/
