We’re just not very impressed with people who are moderate. It’s not known as a really positive quality. People don’t celebrate walking up a nice grassy slope like they celebrate climbing mountains, right? So you tend to tackle a half hour wax and wash job on your car before checking the washer fluid. It’s because we think of starting small as mediocre.
