Like all other teachers and leaders, Jesus died. But Jesus is not just another figure among the list of many others who are now long dead, because He, unlike anyone else, rose from the dead. Without the Resurrection, there would be no Christianity. That is why Saint Paul tells us: “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile, and you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17).
