No matter how hard we try, we cannot fit people who do not love the job into the mold.When we find an individual who is hard-working but who isn't in love with the job, we try to fit them into the mold in a different way. In the last couple of years, we had people who were great on the phones but did not like meeting sellers face to face. We turned those agents into inside sales agents, and as of today, I have five inside sales agents—three on the seller side and two on the buyer.I also had one of my real estate agents who did not really love sales but loved doing comparative marketing analyses (CMAs) switch over to handling those full-time. He now runs over 100 CMAs for my real estate agents each week.When we find an individual who is hard-working but who isn't in love with the job, we try to fit them into the mold in a different way. And when one of my top-producing estate agents told me she wanted more balance between her work and personal life, we reworked her role so that she could dedicate more time to family commitments. Now she is my sales manager, and her job consists of training other agents.At the end of the day, there is a lot of opportunity in the real estate industry.
