When Jesus came and said, "I AM come that you might have life, and have it abundantly," did He simply mean we would have extraordinary natural lives? Did He mean we would have eternal life when we died? Was that His Mind toward life? In the Gospels Jesus declares Life to be Himself. We did not have Him. He is Life. So, when He declared that His coming was unto Life, it meant that He the LIFE would come to be within us. It meant that we would come to know the only True God in an inward way through Jesus Christ our Lord. We would come out of death, and into His Life. He is THE LIFE. Glory to God!
