Sam Beckbessinger and Simon Nicholson are the co-creators of the climate video game Survive the Century, a choose-your-own-adventure style game where you make decisions about how to cover the climate crisis as the editor in chief of the most influential newspaper in the world. The game's third co-creator, Christopher Trisos, unfortunately wasn't able to join us. I found this game to be really helpful for putting real climate scenarios into context, giving me a much better idea of the real implications of, say, a 1.5ºC warming scenario versus a 2ºC scenario.
