Many of the Christians in Corinth were a mess even though they had experienced being rescued and redeemed through salvation in Jesus. They continued to hang out doing some of the deplorable activities they had been delivered from. Paul encouraged them, as he does us, to turn from our mess and become a living message of the One who called them and us out of the "dumpster life" into a life of holiness. Dave Bartlett
