Our hope is certain because it is through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (v. 3) B. Our hope is certain because it is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. (v. 4) C. Our hope is certain because we are being guarded for it by God’s power through faith. (v. 5)II. Joy in Suffering (v. 6-9) A. We rejoice in suffering because our hope points us beyond our trials.
