Society & Culture

Thank you for listening! This is our inaugural podcast...wading into Podcast waters for the first time. Please bear with us...we are in a "learn as we go" mode. But we are anxious to tell Jody's story; too impatient to wait on perfection. In 1996, Jody LeCornu was a 23 year old college senior. She was simply living her life. But her life was cut short on a snowy Baltimore morning, just as she was embarking on the most exciting time of her life...college graduation...a wedding. She was on the verge of obtaining some hard earned goals and reaching the dreams she had set for herself. All of those dreams died with a coward's bullet to her spine.  Her murderer's name is unknown to her family. But he isn't unknown to everyone. Someone knows his name. Is it the police? Is it you? Do you know this cold-blooded killer? Are you the courageous soul who will help Jody's sister, Jenny, close this case?   Shotgun Road, Episode 1 is hosted by Garrett Able. Written by Danita Clark.   Jody’s Song, the Shotgun Road theme music, was created by Adam Hammond. Recorded at Ogre Records. Appreciation and sincere condolences to Jenny LeCornu Carrieri and the LeCornu Family.   Shotgun Road is hosted by Garrett Able. Research and script by Danita Clark. Shotgun Road Theme music, Jody's Song, was written and recorded by Adam Hammond at Ogre Records... in honor of Jody LeCornu. Please join our discussion group on facebook.
