On tonight's podcast, we'll be looking at a letter written in 1958 by John Steinbeck to his son Thom. In it, Steinbeck, the author of the seminal book of American literature -- The Grapes of Wrath -- offers advice to his son on falling in love. It's beautiful, both in it's simplicity and it's completeness. It's a documentarians description of love, one that still manages to hold onto it's poetic core. It's also one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy.
