The unknown haunts and inspires us. The unsolved frustrates and fascinates us. For as long as tales of true crime have captivated me my interest has been equally split between the WHY these horrific things happen and the HOW the detectives and forensic experts put the pieces together and catch and cage the monster. But when the WHY never becomes clear and the HOW the killer is caught never comes to fruition we are trapped in an endless void where no answers are offered.
