Miscellaneous

That sound you heard last night was the entire city of Los Angeles collectively exhaling -- and you also heard a lot of fireworks and screaming -- because after 32 long years, and some especially agonizing losses, the Dodgers are once again World Series Champions. But because this is 2020, we could not escape reality: Justin Turner mysteriously vanished from the 8th inning..........because he had tested positive for coronavirus. There are a ton of questions around the COVID protocols, around Turner's decision to come back out and celebrate, and whether the season needs an asterisk. So we'll go In Depth. We've learned a couple things about Eli Lilly's experimental antibody treatment ....that it's proving ineffective for hospitalized, critical COVID patients...... but we've also learned that the federal government is going to pay 375-MILLION dollars for 300-thousand doses of that treatment. So we'll try to sort that out. And then ... continuing our debates on the propositions: Prop 22........it would restore contract worker status for Uber and Lyft drivers. It's controversial and very expensive. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
