Brad Krewson, Marketing Manager for Davidson Homes, joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum podcast to discuss exciting opportunities in the metro Atlanta real estate market and upcoming 2022 developments. Krewson joins hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick for the All About Real Estate segment. Krewson has been a part of the homebuilding industry since 2015 when he was employed with Century Communities, a top home builder since 2002. After two years, he was promoted to marketing manager with Century Complete, previously Wade Jurney Homes. In 2017, he connected with Christy Duriez, the director of sales and marketing at Davidson Homes, and was recruited to market the new Davidson Homes communities in metro Atlanta. Davidson Homes was founded in 2009 by Adam Davidson at the age of 24 in Huntsville, Alabama. Starting with just two homes, the company took off and experienced a surge in 2012 when it decided to open in several markets. Today, the company builds and markets homes in Alabama, North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and soon Texas. Davidson Homes has been marked as one of the fastest-growing builders in the nation, receiving a spot on the 2021 Top 100 List from Builder Magazine and ranking number 529 on the Inc. 5000 which are two prestigious honors for this premium home builder. “There’s a lot of growth for us right now. It’s really exciting to see,” commented Krewson when discussing the company’s incredible growth and various accolades. When it comes to the home buying process, Davidson Homes walks buyers through every step. Recent prototyping with their homes allows homebuyers to customize the home to meet their needs, setting them apart from their competition. Krewson quoted Adam Davidson by saying, “We want Davidson Homes to give you the only home that you want to buy.” Homeowners having a positive experience is a priority for Davidson Homes. There is a new in-house mortgage company, Davidson Homes Mortgage, that began last July, adding convenience to the entire home buying process. In Krewson’s opinion, the real estate market in the nation is booming despite the effects of the pandemic. Homes sell before construction is complete. Davidson Homes currently has few move-in-ready homes that are ready for purchase. Davidson Homes has several new communities in the Atlanta area: Tanglewood Enclave is an exciting community with quality estate plans starting at $1.2 million. Located in East Cobb, the homes feature 5,113 square feet, six bedrooms and five-and-a-half baths. The homes are expansive with 11-foot ceilings, a learning center on the third floor, covered porches and if the lot size is accommodating, a private pool can be accommodated. Each homeowner also has access to Tanglewood North amenities. In Woodstock, Davidson Homes has several homes under construction. There are currently no homes that are move-in ready in The Village at Towne Lake but potential homeowners can view five decorated model homes that feature all five of Davidson Homes’ single-family home plans. A townhome option is also offered in this community. Mountainbrook in Cartersville features large lots and plans ranging from 2,500 to over 3,000 square feet with basement lots available. Perfectly manicured lawns are a luxurious feature in this community and the popular plan, The Ash, is featured as a model home. The home boasts four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths and a prime location with an easy drive to downtown Cartersville and all its amenities. In mid-September, Davidson Homes is launching events for the community of Everleigh. This community features one-acre lots with six plans ranging from 2,500 to 3,600 square feet. The main selling point for this community is large lots perfect for homeowners looking to upsize. Like Mountainbrook, the fully sodded properties are in a great location, thirty minutes away from downtown Locust Grove and McDonough. Both downtown centers feature great dining,
