These days it’s kind of impossible to talk about the robot/animation/bopping without Madd Chadd’s name thrown in the conversation. He is one of the foremost what I call “robotic artists”, out in the world. A southern California native, Chadd has paid his dues and continues to be an important figure in the street dance culture. We spoke on the first time he saw the robot and his natural curiosity for it. We spoke about his path from the street scene to the industry.
