Ken Schmidt was born and raised in Minot, ND and now resides in Glasgow, MT. Schmidt has fished the Missouri River Reservoirs his entire life. An impressive tournament resume that includes several top ten finishes, winning both the MT and ND Governor’s Cups. Ken and his partner Mark Jones have had incredible success on Lake Sakakawea by winning the ND Governor’s Cup AGAIN in 2021 after winning the tournament in 2014.
