Laurel Porcari is a New Orleans based artist known for her large-scale commissioned works in glass. She uses whole parts - either enameled, colored sheets of glass, or paintings on linen - that are atomized into hundreds of pieces that are thoughtfully reassembled into cohesive patterns. Laurel is dedicated to the revitalization and growth of New Orleans, and focuses on youth empowerment through the arts.
