Wits Radio Academy — In a very important topic following the release of the report by the Commission for Gender Equality on how at least 48 women, mostly HIV positive have been forced into sterilization; we engage on this topical issue with the Commissions’ Javu Baloyi. He highlights under what conditions sterilization is appropriate and sadly, notes the effects of it on the women who realized their fate years after the forced medical procedure; which has included divorce for some, mental health issues for others and even a suicide death for one
