The Laity Fix is the title of Lynda Byrd's new book that examines the challenges and opportunities within today’s faith communities for leaders. Byrd is coming to the Baltimore-Washington Conference Feb. 15 (https://www.bwcumc.org/event/1258339-2019-02-15-the-laity-fix-workshop/) and Feb. 16 (https://www.bwcumc.org/event/1258368-2019-02-16-the-laity-fix-workshop/).This workshop is designed to explore the value of congregational analysis; offer strategies for sustained leadership development; and Identify growth opportunities through mission and ministry initiatives. The free workshop is sponsored by the BWC Office of Leadership and Congregation Development.
