"God, I need Your help. Settle my thoughts and help me to learn to live above my circumstances." If it's not one thing, it's another. I believe that God wants to use me through prayer and encouragement through my hard times to encourage others. Yes, God's Word is enough all by itself, but we must also know how to practically make it through this journey; applying that Word to our individual circumstances. It (life, that is) is really hard sometimes and I believe that we need to honestly express that so that others will know that, "Hey, I'm not alone. She's a follower of Christ or he's a follower of Christ, but yet they have struggles, too. So, how do they make it through? What's different about them? What do they hold on to in times of distress?"
