Looking at Social Justice

Religion & Spirituality

Jim Grant, Director of Social Justice Ministry for the Diocese of Fresno introduces Fr. Paul Keller, a Claretian priest serving at the St. Paul Catholic Newman Center and then shares the Pentecost homily that he preached on May 31, 2020. For 22 minutes, Fr. Paul challenges himself and everyone to a conversion, to see in the killing of George Floyd a call to admit our white privilege and to ask for the gifts of the Holy Spirit to start listening to the communities, especially blacks, who have been suffering in different ways at the hands of white people for the past 400 years. This is the first in a series on Racism.
