Alexis Musser: Stories of The Past

History

This episode encompasses what I talked about in my previous episode. My grandmother Marguerite Quiles is going to go into detail about what she can recall from April 4,1968 and what her point of view was on the situation. Her experience is one of many, but it is a piece of history that will be cherished forever. She touches the topics of both equality and racial injustice, the emotions she felt and the thoughts of those around her. It is important than when history is happening right in front of you to remember it and pass it down from generation to generation. "The more you know about the past, the better prepared you are for the future. " ~Theodore Roosevelt.
