Charlie and Mary McLhinney operated the McLhinney newsstand for many years in Havre de Grace. Many a local boy (and a few girls) in town today will remember their first job delivering newspapers for the McLhinney's! In this excerpt, Mary shares a bit of her childhood, her early married years, and a few other observations. If you remember their shop, you can probably still smell the roasting peanuts! Enjoy.
