This episode, we Get To Know...The US Agent. First introduced as the Super Patriot in Captain America 323, John Walker soon assumed the mantle of Cap himself, when Steve Rogers rejected the Government's insistence that he work exclusively for them, as they 'owned' the concept of the Sentinel of Liberty. Following a huge fall from grace as he struggled to cope with the expectations that came from being Captain America, Walker resurfaced some time later as 'Jack Daniels' the US Agent. We'll be looking at the first few issues of his introduction and appearances as Cap, and then taking a deeper dive into his four issue Limited Series from 1993. We will also be talking about how we think this character will be portrayed in the forthcoming Falcon & Winter Soldier limited series on Disney+ and give you some recommended reading to check out if you're new to this character or just revisiting something you've previously read.
