A 600 foot long freighter is currently dry docked in downtown Pensacola, FL. The ship belongs to aerospace manufacturer Blue Origin and will be used in the retrieval of first stage rocket boosters in a never ending effort to reduce the cost of space flight. Was the purchase of this used boat a hasty attempt to keep up with the developmental curve of other aerospace manufacturers, like SpaceX?
