On this week’s Mocs on the Mic with Chris Goforth presented by SmartBank, we talk with Mocs football defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward and offensive coordinator Joe Pizzo. Both are in their third season with the program and return all of their starters. The Mocs football team is fast approaching its season opener against Austin Peay. The contest is set for a 7:30 p.m., kick off on Thursday, September 2. It’s the only FCS-ranked matchup of opening week with our heroes at No. 18 and the Govs ranked 20th.
