Torngat Secretariat has launched a 40-day moose survey outside Rigolet. They're hoping it will complete their effort to survey the entirety of moose populations in Nunatsiavut. We hear more from Jamie Snook, Executive Director at Torngat Wildlife, Plants and Fisheries Secretariat. When you find a moose trapped in a brook, what do you do? Rescue it, of course! We speak with Stanley Linstead of L'Anse au Loup to find out what it took to do just that. We get a trail update from Eldon Wheaton of the White Wolf Snowmobile Club in Labrador West. If you live in North West River and Sheshatshiu your residential internet service may be getting an upgrade. We hear about the initiative and what this means for internet connectivity throughout Labrador. The Happy Valley-Goose Bay SPCA is in quarantine until Sunday due to a parvo outbreak. We learn more about Parvo from Dr. Rebecca Jackson of the Valley Vet Clinic and remind you how to protect your pups. With Valentine's Day approaching, Wayne Button returns to review Violet's Storm by Labrador West author Tanya Benoit. A Happy Valley-Goose Bay mom has created a group for people to anonymously post if there's an exposure alert in a school. Amanda Edmunds joins us to talk about it.
