Against my objection our Board has made public employees paid with taxpayer money above the taxpayers by setting a minimum wage for these public employees above those paying for that wage. The progressives also chose to deny a quarry application rather than allow additional time to address a possible conflict causing longer truck trips to deliver gravel in the Oakridge area adding to our carbon footprint and to he cost of needed housing. Speaking of climate and resilience the privileged folks of South Eugene have managed to stop a project aimed at making Eugene's drinking water system more resilient to climate change because, "not in my backyard!"
