Business

SHOW NOTES (www.mikejamesreid.com) Tim Sotoadeh is the founder of Broya - a Canadian organic bone broth startup. He's also an Internal Family Systems (IFS) Practitioner. IFS is a psychotherapy modality that Tim initially started four years ago for his self-discovery. The further he dove into IFS, the more he started to recognise how revolutionary it was. That's when he decided he needed to make it his mission to share this with the rest of the world. In this episode, we talk about the dichotomy Tim faces in running Broya and his IFS business simultaneously, and how both businesses fulfil different goals and desires. We also talk about many dichotomies, including movement versus stillness, silence versus noise, and living in flow versus the painful discipline of execution.Tim talks about his theory of a post-digital world and how it has never been more important to spend time meditating and reflecting on your thoughts and emotions. Tim opens up about his experience with therapy, and how embracing his vulnerability has lead to some incredible breakthroughs in business and life. Enjoy!
