This week on Star Trek: Lower Decks, while Tendi creates a new genetically altered pet named "The Dog", Boimler helps Rutherford with a new transporter project and things don't go as smoothly as planned. As a result, both are sent aboard the mysterious USS Osler to head to Section 14's "The Farm", which apparently are where all victims of science or medical experiments go.  While enroute, Boimler causes quite a stir with the other misfits. Meanwhile, Captain Freeman, Shax and Ransom are away on a super important secret mission (not really) and an old friend of Mariners takes temporary command of the Cerritos.  Her first order of business?  Make Mariner First Officer while they help a planet in need and investigate why the U.S.S. Rubidoux is adrift in space! Freaks fight back as Sara, Bill, and Kasey and Dan sit down to talk about "Much Ado About Boimler," the 7th episode of Lower Decks!  What great Trek references did they spot this week, what were their favorite quotes and did this episode have some real controversy??
