Day 2, Novena to the Sacred Heart. St John Paul II: "We know these things because God Himself has deigned to reveal them to us through the Son, who is the wisdom of God (1 Cor 1, 24). All things, which are on earth and in the heavens, have been created through him and in view of him (Col 1, 16). The wisdom of Christ is greater than that of Solomon (Lk 11, 31). His riches are inscrutable (Eph 3, 8). His love surpasses all knowledge. But with faith we are able to understand, together with all the saints, the breadth, the length, the height, the depth (Eph 3, 18). Knowing Jesus, we also know God.
