In a first for our Oh Behave show on Pet Life Radio, host Arden Moore interviews the current American Veterinary Medical Association President. Dr. Jose Arce is the newly elected president and the first Latino and the first to serve as president from Puerto Rico for the AVMA, which serves more than 97,000 members. Dr. Arce and his wife, Dr. Anik Puig, also operate the Miramar Animal Hospital in San Juan, PR. Dr. Arce talks about ways to celebrate National Dog Day (Aug. 26), the impact COVID has had on veterinary practices, the ways dogs and other pets can bring out the healthy best in all of us and of course, his favorite sport -- playing soccer.
