Ordinary Vegan Podcast

Health & Fitness

Every November, we commemorate World Vegan Month. What better way to celebrate than welcoming long-time animal advocate, author, and all-around inspiring vegan, Colleen Patrick Goudreau. In addition, she is an acclaimed speaker, and her award-winning Food for Thought podcast has been changing hearts and minds for over 14 years.  Colleen is also a recognized expert and leader on the culinary, social, ethical, and practical aspects of living compassionately. She is the author of seven books, including her newest book, The Joyful Vegan: Everything You Need to Stay Vegan in a World That Wants You to Keep Eating Meat, Dairy, and Eggs.  I was first introduced to Colleen back in 2011 when she was a speaker at Vida Vegan Bloggers Conference in Portland, Oregon. At the time, I was only plant-based for three months, and I was pretty clueless about what embracing a vegan diet really meant. After hearing Colleen speak about the bigger picture, the true meaning, and spiritual journey of not eating animals, I knew there was no going back. In today’s podcast, we discuss Colleen’s practical advice and wisdom on how to live a compassionate lifestyle.  She will inspire you to find your vegan voice and how to share that voice with others. In addition, her boundless devotion to protecting animals will motivate others to do the same. You can find all her books, including The Joyful Vegan on Amazon and on her website.  Please welcome Collen Patrick Goudreau!
